2-Day Tour Trip from Fes

Day 1: Fez – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga desert

Transfer from your accommodation in Fez at 8:00 am. You will travel along the road to Errachidia, passing through the Middle Atlas and Berber villages on the slopes of the mountains. You will have time to take many pictures of the incredible scenic sights. You will continue into the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. You will have a short break during which you will also have the opportunity to photograph the monkeys. Continue your journey to the south of Morocco. Upon arrival in Midelt you will have lunch in a typical Moroccan restaurant. We then return to the desert through a beautiful valley (we call it the Ziz valley, with its millions of palm trees). We arrive in the desert of Merzouga, where a caravan of camels awaits us. During the camel ride we will stop to admire the sunset and then head to a Berber tent where a delicious dinner with Berber songs awaits us. Early in the morning we will climb a large dune to admire the beautiful sunrise.

Day 2: Merzouga – Errachidia – Ifrane – Fez

After breakfast and refreshments at the hotel, we depart for Fez via Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalt region. Rissani is the commercial centre of the region and is famous for its large Berber market, which is particularly lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We will stop for lunch in a typical restaurant before continuing our journey to Ifrane, the Swiss city of Morocco. We will arrive in Fez in the afternoon and take you to your accommodation.
