3-Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi – N – Tichka – Ait Benhaddu – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge

Departure from Marrakech at 7am, cross Tichka Pass at 2260m, visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, lunch in Ouarzazate with a visit to the city Kasbah, drive through Skoura Oasis, Kalaat M’guna, Rose Valley to reach Dadesh. Overnight in Dades in a beautiful riad with half board.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Tenghir – Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel, we will travel from the Dades Gorge to Erg Chebbi, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. See the Berber villages scattered along the route, drive through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud to get an impression of the Sahara landscape. Visit the oasis of Tafilalet before arriving in Merzouga. Take a short rest in Merzouga before you board your camel and cross the dunes on your way to the Berber nomad camp. Admire the sand dunes and desert landscape from a timeless perspective, listening to the drums of a desert camp in the middle of the Sahara. Photograph the spectacular sunset from the top of a high dune. We then drive to the camp where we spend the night in a nomadic tent with half board.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Admire the sunrise, take a 2-hour camel ride from Merzouga back to Marrakech via Ouarzazate (lunch), Ouarzazate (visit the city’s Kasbah and film studio, depending on time availability), to Marrakech.

Return to Marrakech late afternoon.
